In Hessen, German president pelted with eggs
April 14, Federal President of Germany Christian Wulff visited the capital of Hessen, Wiesbaden.
An unpleasant incident occurred during the visit: a hooligan in the crowd threw raw eggs at the head of state.
One egg achieved the goal. The attacker, a middle-aged man, was immediately detained by security staff. Bild tells about it.
The security guard managed to cover Christian Wulff.
Despite this, one egg soiled President’s trousers. Second egg hit the Prime Minister of Hessen, Volker Bouffier.
He came out to meet the Head of Germany in front of the Landtag of Hessen, in Wiesbaden.
However, Wulff, despite the incident, looked calm, he changed clothes and went out again to the public.
As reported by Welt, the man, arrested for disorderly conduct, is 48 years old.
It turned out that it wasn’t his first time to attack the presidents.
In October 2007, the “victim”of his hooliganism was Horst Köhler, the ex-President.
Then Köhler attended the Church of St. Paul (Paulskirche) in Frankfurt.
Suddenly a man came up to the President, embraced the Head of State and even managed to hold him in his arms for a few seconds.
The last time he explained his behavior by a conflict with his renter on the payment for his apartment.
The case against him was dismissed in February 2011 in connection with his minor guilt.
However, the punishment was inflicted. He was sentenced to 40 hours of community service.
